Bracelets Sold for Women in Peru

The U of M Rights and Democracy delegation raised over $600.00 for a co-op in Peru, by selling bracelets made by women in the co-op.

Human Rights and Sports Conference

March 7-9, 2008
The U of M delegation is currently helping to plan an inter-university Rights and Democracy conference, to be held over the weekend of March 7-9, 2008. The conference will feature speakers, workshops, and social events, and will focus on human rights in sports, including the issues surrounding the upcoming 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
